This film studies several examples of locally-controlled NGOs and social enterprises in India, Ghana, Uganda, and Kenya. We then ask the question from leading professionals and thought leaders in International Development: Is the current system still relevant? If not, what should we change?

Amanda Campbell

Former journalist and magazine editor Amanda Campbell is a committed storyteller. Having started at her local newspaper, she then worked for the BBC,the Guardian, and national magazines.

David Campbell

Independent documentary film-maker and writer David works with the team at Republica Media to create and share stories about social justice and humanitarian issues.

Alan Braithwaite

Humanitarian and philanthropist Alan recently sold his global logistics business and set out to bring fresh thinking to the aid sector. Alan is currently co-chair of the Disasters Group at Catalyst 2030.
